Cleanly finished end stitching with no double-backs, crossed stiches, knots or melted blobs. This provides a clean finish that highlights the simple elegance of your strap.
Thick thread that matches the robust look of large watches. Using this thread requires a special American-made sewing machine.
Large holes. Chosen not for fashion, but to match the size of the buckle tang. All punching done by hand, one at a time.
Cleanly finished, skivved keepers. The ends of the keepers are tapered to fit each other, and left unstitched for extra comfort.
Two keepers per strap. You may not need them both, but they're always included.
Smooth, custom edge coat. No off-the-shelf-brown, I mix my edge coat to my own specific color.
Always a two layer strap. I only make straps with simple, rugged two-layer construction for maximum comfort, flexibility, durability and the perfect thickness.
Tubes included. 27/26 straps and straps in non-Panerai sizes do not have tubes.
Tang slot cut to allow full tang motion. This allows movement of the tang away from the back of the strap while putting the watch on, preventing frustration and strap damage.
And most important of all: Your strap is always 100% hand crafted by me, Micah. No employees, never my name on a strap someone else made. It's just you, me and your strap... that's it!
