Cleanly finished end stitches with no double-backs, crossed stiches, knots or melted thread blobs. This makes for a clean finish that highlights the simple elegance of the straps.
Thick thread that matches the robust look of large watches. Using this thread requires a special American-made sewing machine.
Large holes. Chosen not for fashion, but to match the size of the buckle tang. All punching done by hand, one at a time.
Cleanly finished, skivved keepers. The ends of the keepers are tapered to fit each other, and left unstitched for extra comfort.
Two keepers per strap. You may not need them both, but they're always included.
Custom edge coat. No off-the-shelf-brown, I mix my edge coat to my own specific color.
Always a two layer strap. I only make straps with simple, rugged two-layer construction for maximum comfort, flexibility, durability and the perfect thickness.
