Zurcher-Matten (Z-Matten) is the ultimate expression of historic, military style for your watch. Made from Swedish ammo pouches from the mid 50's to early 60's Z-Matten claims and restores a rich vintage heritage for your wrist. With just a few day's wear Z-Matten molds to your wrist for the ultimate comfortable fit.
Different companies produced these ammo pouches from common military specifications so each has a unique maker's mark which I try to preserve on your strap (usually on the back).
Ammo pouch colors range from light to very dark. Pictured straps provide approximate examples. Click through the "Buy now" buckle choice to enter your preference for light, medium or dark.
Mil-Spec green or 1886 Tan are the absolute stunner stitching choices for all color variations. Brown has a nice stealth appeal as well. The flat GPF-style buckle is a very appropriate choice for this strap.
