Way beyond nice, Sunset has great character and is really soft and just plain COMFY! This strap looks fantastic on just about any watch. Sunset's honey-gold color is softer, lighter, more golden and a little less "vintage" (in a good way) than Copperplate which is more of a rust-brown color.
The existance of this strap is 100% courtesy of a friend of mine, Jeff. If you spend any time on the various Panerai forums you've seen his posts (TZ nick: jswing) about his adventures in making straps for himself, as well as this nice tutorial on doing it yourself (good luck!). The hide he started with is this one, Sunset. When he realized he had more hide than he needed he was nice enough to send me some, and when I told him I loved it he hooked me up with the info. Man, that's community right there. So if you get a Sunset and you love it... props to Jeff, he's da man!
